The new tableware series is inspired by Limfjord’s seafloor. The organic shapes and soft tones of the plates, platters and mugs are inspired by the mussels, oysters, and cockles from the grand and silent world underneath us. Each delicate piece is finished with a reactive glaze that gives the ceramics its elegant, watercolour-like texture.
The Limfjord is a unique inlet separating the North Jutland Island from the rest of Jutland in Denmark. From above the curvaceous coastline is beautifully outlined and going under waters a captivating underworld of limestone is revealed.
