The Copenhagen-based design studio’s new bed – aptly named Bed – is designed to be the last bed you’ll ever purchase. Fully flexible and customisable, it grows with you and your family. One design. Many options.
The expandable bed is far from just another bed design. The Danish design studio has made a mantra out of creating products giving you many options, and thereby eliminating the need to ever replace the design.
The expandable bed is a minimal and modern design, and easily transforms from a single to a double bed. Use the Bed as a single 90 cm bed in the kid’s or guest room, as a 180 cm double bed in the master bedroom, or make it fit any sized mattress between the two.
Sleep with Great Design, and Great Conscience
We know how important a bed is. In fact, it’s probably the single most important design in your home. Certified with the EU Ecolabel flower, Moebe are (rightly) very proud of taking yet another step in the right direction towards an even more sustainable production, getting the way we’ve always worked certified.
The bed is made of materials and paint that meet certified standards and won't pollute your bedroom's indoor environment. It's a fair demand to make for your bed, especially since the bedroom is a room where we spend a lot of time.
On top of this, the EU Eco-label certification also ensures that we have minimised the environmental impact in every part of the production process of their bed. Produced by trusted partners in Europe, and made from a steel frame available in four colours with a matt fine grain finish.
Flat-Packed and Repairable
Moebe ship their design, not air, which is why they design in separable parts, making it easy to flat-pack products. This also means you can easily repair or replace a single part of the bed, should it ever break – because it should always be easier and cheaper to repair than to buy new.
Need a place for your book?
The Bed comes with the option of adding a minimal bedside table for holding your essentials during the night and early morning. Add a single table on your preferred side, or a table on each side. The minimal bedside tables shaped as half moons are available in the same four colours as the bed.
